Love strawberries? This simple and delicious Strawberry Cake is the perfect treat for strawberry
season! Made with ABC's Vanilla Cake Premix, it’s light, fruity and oh-so-pretty—ideal for any
occasion or just a casual dessert to enjoy at home.
Ingredients:
ABC Vanilla Cake Premix
1 box of fresh strawberries
¼ cup icing sugar
Method:
Prepare the cake batter using ABC's Vanilla Cake Premix according to the instructions
on the pack.
Gently fold in some chopped strawberries into the batter to infuse the cake with that
fresh strawberry flavour.
Grease a cake tin and line it with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the tin, spreading
it evenly.
Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the batter for a beautiful finish.
Bake at 180°C for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out
clean.
Once baked, let the cake cool slightly before demoulding. Dust it generously with icing
sugar for a sweet, snowy touch.
