Strawberry Cake

Love strawberries? This simple and delicious Strawberry Cake is the perfect treat for strawberry season! Made with ABC's Vanilla Cake Premix, it’s light, fruity and oh-so-pretty—ideal for any occasion or just a casual dessert to enjoy at home.


Ingredients:
  • ABC Vanilla Cake Premix
  • 1 box of fresh strawberries
  • ¼ cup icing sugar
Method:
  • Prepare the cake batter using ABC's Vanilla Cake Premix according to the instructions on the pack.
  • Gently fold in some chopped strawberries into the batter to infuse the cake with that fresh strawberry flavour.
  • Grease a cake tin and line it with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the tin, spreading it evenly.
  • Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the batter for a beautiful finish.
  • Bake at 180°C for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  • Once baked, let the cake cool slightly before demoulding. Dust it generously with icing sugar for a sweet, snowy touch.
